DCS Binder reads your own DCS installation, shows every command your modules really have, and lets you drag them onto a picture of your stick and throttle. It writes a profile DCS loads as-is.

Other controllers still work through the list view and the app reads them directly — it is the drawn diagram that has to be made per device, and more are coming. What it does
Drag commands onto your stick
A picture of the device with a dot on every control. Drag a command onto a dot, or click a dot and pick from the list. Press the switch on the real thing and its dot lights up, so you never have to count hotspots to find one.
Axis tuning, exactly as DCS does it
Deadzone, saturation, curvature and a user curve, written into the same table DCS writes itself. A dot rides the curve as you move the axis — read from the device's own report, so the twist is the twist.
Straight into DCS
It writes the profile into your Saved Games folder under the exact name DCS expects, device id and all. Restart DCS and your bindings are there — no exporting, no copying, no Load Profile.
Carry a layout to another aircraft
Load the profile you already fly and it works out the matching commands on a different jet, keeping each one on the same button. Every proposal is yours to approve first.
A reference sheet you can print
The device, numbered, with a key beside it saying what each number does. One page per angle, ready for the desk beside you.

Windows will warn you about the installer
It is not signed with a certificate yet, so SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway. A signing certificate costs a few hundred euro a year and will be bought once the app has earned it; until then, this is the honest explanation rather than a scary dialog with no context.
It installs for your user only, so it never asks for administrator rights.

Which controllers are supported?
The Logitech/Saitek X-56 stick and throttle have full diagrams today. Any other controller still works: the app reads it directly and you bind from the list view, you just do not get the picture with dots on it.
More devices are on the way, and the order is decided by what people ask for. Send the model — a photo, or the page of the manual naming the buttons, makes it much quicker to add. themaritimepilot@gmail.com
Does it change my DCS installation?
It reads it, never writes to it. The only thing it writes is a profile in your
Saved Games folder, where DCS keeps your own bindings — and if a
profile of that name already exists, the old one is kept as a
.backup file beside it.
